Do these statements sound familiar? The statements you use to tell yourself that what you’re really feeling and thinking, below the surface, aren’t right. The way you have navigated the world is savvy and it is exhausting! Maybe you’ve walked through another therapists' door, sat on their couch, and years later find that those “old” things keep coming up again.
You are strong for everyone around you and on the inside you feel fragile and weak. I love working with the one’s who “have everything together“ but yet things hardly feel held together.
The parts of you that convinced you that you didn’t need to feel hurt or sad, are SO smart because they ultimately helped get you to where you are today. And yet, where you are today isn‘t quite where you want to be or how you want to feel. I can help with that! Through our work together, we will find a way to honor the truth underneath what you feel. We will explore the inner world that got locked up and work to set those old beliefs and patterns free, for good!
Sometimes we need an internal update because the things in our present remind us of the past. The context is different, but the feelings are the same. I see it in women who “had it all together” before becoming a parent. I see it in individuals who had found recovery from their eating disorders, and then life life's and activates those old patterns that you had found freedom from. I see it in men who have gotten to where they thought they wanted to be professionally and begin to question everything they thought they knew about themselves.
Whatever your story is, I want to SEE you! Our work isn‘t just talking about the stuff, it’s about being in the stuff, together. Witnessing your own story is the most powerful healing tool there is! I want to help get you there.
