I received my undergraduate degree, B.S. in Food: Nutrition and Dietetics, from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. I completed my dietetic internship through Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio. Most recently, I have been working at an eating disorder treatment recovery facility, working with patients on having a healthier relationship with food and their bodies while incorporating health at every size and anti-diet principals.
One of my goals is to become a CEDS- Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.
While I am passionate about Eating Disorder recovery, my time as a Dietitian has allowed me to gain experience in other areas as well! While in clinicial dietetics, I developed a joy of working with those with Diabetes. I enjoy working with to change the stigma around food, especially carbohydrates, and help improve their relationship with food. I've also worked with a non-profit organization helping to improve food insecurity among pregnant women in St. Louis. During my time in this role, I got the opportunity to walk alongside women through their entire pregnancy, while also providing assistance to helpful resources and food.
